About Daily Five
Daily Five is a personal interactive physics lab for exploring how rockets launch, satellites orbit and spacecraft travel between worlds.
The Orbital lab offers four experiments: Earth Ascent, Satellite Ops, Lunar Transfer and Mars Transfer. Change the labeled variables, watch trajectories and telemetry, and reset to compare results.
This is an educational 2D simulation with simplified planetary motion, atmospheric drag and explicitly idealized orbital maneuvers. Shaded globe visuals do not change the two-dimensional flight dynamics. It is not a flight-planning system. Guided Earth Ascent can continue to lunar orbit with the same spacecraft state. Lunar Quickstart begins in parking orbit; Mars starts after Earth escape. An optional separated lander uses finite thrust and reserved fuel to descend to spherical lunar terrain. Touchdown is classified by measured speed and attitude.
